Paul Allen Hughes

Paul Allen Hughes, 49, of Hilliards passed away Friday afternoon at UPMC-Shadyside following an illness.

He was born Aug. 31, 1969, in Grove City, and was the son of the late Clarence Earl Sr. and Donna Beighley Hughes.

He married the former Catherine Marymarcie Michael on April 22, 2001, she survives.

Paul was employed at various auto repair and auto body shops in the local area as his health permitted.

He enjoyed working with automobiles, attending car shows, and flea marketing.

He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and caring for his special dog “Sassy.”

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Tyler Allen (Kirsten) Hughes of Hilliards; a niece, Lacey (Kaitlin) Ward of North Beach, Md.; a brother in law, Kenny Michael of North Huntington; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Elizabeth Hughes Ealy; a brother Clarence Earl Hughes Jr.; and a niece Donna Ann Larkin.

HUGHES — Friends of Paul Allen Hughes, who died Friday, Feb. 15, 2019, will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at H. Jack Buzard Funeral Home, 201 S. Washington St., Eau Claire.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Private burial will follow at Eau Claire Cemetery

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the Butler County Dialysis Center or a charity of their choice.
