Students make pottery at a former FAB Showcase. This year's arts event hosted by the Butler Golden Tornado Scholastic Foundation will be Saturday (4/7/2018) at the Intermediate High School.

The Butler Golden Tornado Scholastic Foundation will hold its annual Fine Arts and Beyond (FAB) Showcase from 4 to 8:30 p.m. this Saturday at the Butler Intermediate High School, 551 Fairground Hill Road.

Now in its 15th year, the FAB Showcase will feature the artistic and musical work of Butler School District students and professional community artists.

Artwork done by students from all grade levels will be for sale.

Admission to the event is free. There also will be a basket auction, silent auction and a raffle.

Proceeds from the event will go to the scholastic foundation, which funds annual scholarships, sponsors the weekend backpack program, awards creative teaching grants and provides technology to the district.
