Butler County's great daily newspaper
Matthew Glover
Eagle Staff Writer
724-282-8000 ext. 249
Matthew Glover started with Butler Eagle in January 2025 after beginning his career in New Castle. He graduated from Slippery Rock University in 2023 concentrating in multimedia journalism with a minor in political science. He previously attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania, which allowed him to develop a strong writing base before studying how the industry evolved into its modern practices. Glover's beat covers crime in the county. He is a Slippery Rock Township resident and enjoys playing and listening to music, being outside and supporting his sports teams until they drive him to insanity.
