Austin joined the Butler Eagle in the winter of 2023 after working as a freelance reporter. From 2017-2022, he worked as an English Language and Theatre teacher in Bratislava, Slovakia. He is a graduate of Slippery Rock University, having studied interdisciplinary professional writing and communications.
He currently resides in Butler Township.
