ADAMS TWP — Township parks and recreation director Brian Perry told supervisors on Monday, May 8, that the community park’s new splash pad is nearing completion.

“We’re just a couple of weeks away,” Perry said.

Perry said the township is planning for a Memorial Day opening as crews finish up “just a couple more items.”

“Turf is coming in this week, then fencing and then finishing up with the parking lot and the parking lot lights,” Perry said.

He said the splash pad would be a staffed feature in the park, and that the department already has one applicant for the positions.

“Right now we’re working on one, but we’re trying to get more,” Perry said.
