Knoch Primary School acting principal takes charge, Mandalas not returning this school year
In the wake of recent charges against Knoch Primary School principal Gregory Mandalas, district superintendent David Foley has announced that Mandalas will not be returning to the building this school year.
In a Tuesday message posted to the district’s website, Foley said retired principal and assistant superintendent, Rick Cavett has agreed to work in the building as acting principal.
Mandalas was placed on administrative leave at the district after being charged with misdemeanor willingly failing to report suspected child abuse as a mandated reporter in a case relating to charges against his son, Matthew G. Mandalas.
