Martinis with Monet winners announced
Awards for this year’s Martinis with Monet art exhibition in Cranberry Township have been chosen. The artists received their awards at the opening reception on July 12.
Lynn Roberts won first place for her acrylic painting, “A Touch of Gold.”
Paul Jay won second place for his ceramic piece, “Krater.”
Sherrie Dunlap Gallagher won third place for her photograph, “In the Footsteps of My Grandfather.”
Honorable mentions included Colleen M. Sherts for her collage “Frond,” Jack Puglisi for his pen and ink drawing “Archadia,” Holly Putlz for her oil painting “No Parking,” and Sandra Beitsinger for her oil painting “Lost in Murano.”
Leslie Baldwin won the Irene Ackerman Watercolor Award for her painting, “The Cat Whisperer.”
Now in its ninth year, Martinis with Monet is Cranberry Township’s signature community art exhibition, kicking off the township’s Community Days.
The show will continue until Aug. 24 at the township municipal center during regular business hours.
