Lancaster Twp. manager remains until November

Lancaster Township confirmed Wednesday, Sept. 20, that former township manager C. Michael Foote will remain with the municipality in an interim capacity.

According to office administrator Shirley Stine, Foote has reached an agreement with the township to serve as interim manager until the end of October.

Until that time, he will be available at the township office every Thursday.

Foote’s resignation was approved at the board of supervisors’ Aug. 23 meeting, bringing an end to his nearly two years with the township.

He previously said he has decided to pursue his “career goals with another municipality.”
