New episode: Alter Eagle aims to ‘Stop the Judgment’
Alter Eagle, an original Butler Eagle podcast, will release a new episode Monday, March 11, focused on a local couple fighting to “Stop the Judgment” surrounding addiction.
The podcast already features seven episodes exploring addiction and recovery in Butler County. New episodes release every Monday and are available at alter-eagle.com as well as on major streaming platforms, such as Spotify and Apple Podcasts.
The podcast’s eighth episode will feature Sherry Jo Matt and Tom Bott, founders of Stop the Judgment project. The project works to combat stigma surrounding mental health and substance abuse in young adults.
Matt and Bott founded the project after their own daughter, Siena, died of fentanyl overdose at 21 years old. The couple will share Siena’s story with podcast producer Laura Crago, as well as the project’s mission: providing support for families battling substance use and mental health in their own homes.
