No injuries reported after school van overturns into ditch
No injuries were reported when a school van overturned into a ditch in the Friday morning fog in Clinton Township.
State police arrived around 7 a.m. to Coal Hollow Road to find the W.L. Roenigk Inc. van driver trapped in the vehicle on its side. Knoch School District Superintendent David Foley said no students were aboard.
A state trooper said the driver attempted to turn around and backed into the ditch.
The driver was assessed by Saxonburg EMS and refused transportation to a hospital.
Coal Hollow Road was closed between Route 228 and Cubbage Road for about an hour.
Joshua Orris, general manager for the communication company, said they are investigating the cause of the crash.
Sarver Automotive and Performance was called to wench the van out of the ditch.
Buffalo Township Volunteer Fire Company and Sarver Volunteer Fire Company also responded.
