Clearfield Township man accused of rape
A Clearfield Township man was charged Wednesday, Feb. 12, after police say he sexually assaulted a woman four times when both were juveniles.
Isaac Robert Merle Orr, 20, was charged with four felony counts of rape, four felony counts of sexual assault, four felony charges of aggravated indecent assault and three misdemeanor charges of indecent assault related to several incidents that occurred in 2019, according to the affidavit.
State police in Butler said they spoke with a woman Oct. 7 who told them Orr had sexually assaulted her on several occasions in 2019. She detailed four incidents in two locations in an Oct. 24 interview.
Police and a forensic interviewer with the Butler County Children’s Advocacy Center conducted the interview. Police said Orr met the woman on Snapchat when he was 15 and she was 12. Orr visited her ex-stepfather’s house in July 2019 to play video games and pulled the woman into the bathroom before sexually assaulting her and stopping when her mother was heard, according to the affidavit.
Police said three incidents occurred in the same manner at Orr’s residence from August to October 2019 in Clearfield Township. Police said while the woman would play video games, Orr would sexually assault her.
Police said on other occasions, Orr would lock his bedroom door and shove her to the ground before sexually assaulting her. Police said Orr was a juvenile during the acts and became an adult in 2022.
Orr’s preliminary hearing is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. April 1 before District Judge Lewis Stoughton.
