2 injured in Cranberry Township crash
An elderly man and woman were taken to hospitals following a two-vehicle head-on crash around 4 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 19, in Cranberry Township.
One person was transferred to a local hospital, and the other was transferred to a trauma center in Pittsburgh, according to a Cranberry Township EMS operator.
Crews responded to the intersection of Route 19 and Freedom Road and were on scene about 45 minutes, according to Cranberry Township Volunteer Fire Company Chief Scott Garing. He said both vehicles were disabled.
Cranberry Township EMS and police also responded.
