Man reportedly stabbed at Butler Township business
A man accused of stabbing another man at a Butler Township hair salon Monday afternoon, March 3, fled following the incident, according to police.
The stabbing, which was reported around 1:30 p.m. inside SuperCuts along New Castle Road, prompted a series of interviews that police hoped would help find the man.
Police did not indicate the public was at risk.
Emergency services were dispatched around 1:30 p.m. for a 20-year-old man stabbed in the arm inside the business. Police said the man was conscious, alert and taken to UPMC Presbyterian for treatment.
Butler Ambulance Service and Butler Township police responded to the incident at 100 Benovan Square.
Butler Township police said an update is expected later on the an active investigation at this time.
