Man flown to hospital after Butler Township crash
A Butler man was flown to a Pittsburgh hospital Tuesday evening, March 11, following a two-vehicle crash along Route 356 in Butler Township.
David Michael Bordonaro, 64, was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital, and then was taken by medical helicopter to Allegheny General Hospital for injuries suffered in the crash, which was reported around 7:15 p.m. on Route 356 near Sheetz.
Butler Township police said Bordonaro’s vehicle struck a vehicle being driven by Matthew Ray Joseph McCombs, 19, of Butler.
Bordonaro was cited for driving at an unsafe speed and an expired inspection sticker, according to a police report.
Bordonaro’s vehicle was towed from the scene.
