Police reports

The following items were collected from various police departments and district courts:

State police, Butler

March 5 — Christopher Nei Mathews, 42, of Cabot, was charged with misdemeanor accident involving damage following a Feb. 20 crash in Jefferson Township. Police said Mathews fled the scene of a crash.

March 5 — Cortez Lamarr Hammonds, 39, of Youngstown, was charged with two felony counts each of theft by deception and deceptive business practices, and one count of receiving stolen property related to a Nov. 17 incident in Muddy Creek Township. Police said Hammonds overcharged when selling a vehicle to a Pennsylvania resident with Ohio tags.

March 7 — Eric Scott McElravy, 55, of Chicora, was charged with two misdemeanor counts of driving under the influence of alcohol following a Feb. 17 crash in Chicora. Police said McElravy had a BAC of 0.161%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.

Buffalo Twp

March 5 — Ryan Chapman Smith, 48, of Sarver, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of simple assault and driving under the influence following a March 4 incident. Police said Smith pushed a woman and drove away from the area before showing signs of impairment.

Middlesex Twp

March 4 — Patrick Phillip Milliren, 33, of New Kensington, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of inhaling toxic releasing substances and driving under the influence following a March 1 incident. Police said they arrived to find Milliren slumped over the wheel of his vehicle with a 3.3-liter bottle of nitrous oxide.
