A Butler man was charged April 8 after reportedly exposing himself in the parking lot of a gas station on Center Avenue, according to police.

Dustin M. Williams, 40, was charged with misdemeanor indecent exposure related to a Feb. 9 incident at Sheetz.

Police said when an employee arrived to work and was sitting in her car, a vehicle backed in beside the vehicle, but one space over. The manager told police she heard the car horn beep, looked over and saw Williams masturbating.

Police said Williams admitted to the act in a subsequent interview.

Police used camera footage to determine Williams entered the store to purchase a drink and remained in his vehicle for about half an hour afterward in various areas of the parking lot.

Williams’ preliminary hearing has not yet been scheduled.
