SUV crashes into Cranberry Twp. apartment building

CRANBERRY TWP — An SUV crashed into an apartment building at 1304 Cranberry Pointe Lane the evening of Thursday, Feb. 9.

Adams Area Fire District, Cranberry Township Volunteer Fire Company, Harmony Fire District and Marshall Township Volunteer Fire Department were dispatched at 5:09 p.m.

Crews responding to the scene found a white SUV with its front end in the building. Parking spaces are alongside the building.

Michael Hanks, Cranberry Township VFC division chief, said the driver was newly licensed.

Crews had removed the vehicle by 6 p.m. but were still working to support the wall.

No injuries resulted from the crash. The apartment unit struck was vacant.
