Seven Fields Borough’s St. Patrick’s Pot of Gold 5K Run and Walk on Saturday, March 18, has been canceled due to lack of participation.

“Unfortunately, we only had 10 runners registered,” borough manager Tom Smith said. “It was St. Patrick’s Day weekend, so maybe people had other plans for that Saturday, but we just sort of felt it was best to maybe move it to the fall.”

The event was sponsored by the council and the parks and recreation committee as a fundraiser for various community events, including Seven Fields’ Easter Egg Hunt, Boo Bash and Christmas Light-Up Night.
