Cranberry waterline break halts traffic on Route 19
A waterline broke early this afternoon, May 3, along Route 19 in Cranberry Township, bringing traffic to a standstill.
“We have traffic pretty backed up on Route 19,” said Jessie Hoffman, the township’s multimedia specialist.
According to Hoffman, the waterline broke between Dutilh Road and north to Smith Drive.
Municipal public works crews are onsite and working to repair the break.
As of 12:30 p.m., Hoffman said the cause was unknown.
