‘Alter Eagle’ releasing new episode, miniseries
“Alter Eagle,” an original Butler Eagle podcast, will release a new episode Monday, March 18, followed by a bonus episode as part of a new miniseries.
The podcast currently features eight episodes exploring addiction and recovery in Butler County — as well as a bonus episode released March 13 as part of a miniseries highlighting Butler County issues on Capitol Hill. New episodes release every Monday and are available at alter-eagle.com as well as on major streaming platforms, such as Spotify and Apple Podcasts.
The podcast’s ninth episode will feature Dawn Halle, senior clinical director at Glade Run Lutheran Services, and Amy Cirelli, mental health specialist at Butler County Human Services.
The pair will continue the podcast’s discussion around addiction, touching on how family dynamics impact substance use disorder. The episode will also address the relationship between substance use, suicide and mental health.
Stay tuned Wednesday, March 20, for a bonus episode as part of the “Our County on Capitol Hill” miniseries — exploring Butler County issues on the national stage.
Following host Laura Crago’s trip to Washington, D.C. this month for the State of the Union address, the episode will feature Malphine Fogel, mother of Butler native Marc Fogel who has been imprisoned in Russia for the past two-and-a-half years.
