Man charged after threatening manager at dealership with knife
Cranberry Township man allegedly pulled a knife on a service manager after his car appointment was canceled, according to charges filed by township police.
Gary Allison Swift Jr., 57, was charged with misdemeanor administering terroristic threats related to an alleged Jan. 11 incident at Ron Lewis Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Fiat along Route 19 in Cranberry Township.
Police said Swift entered the dealership for a service appointment, and the service manager told him his appointment was canceled. Police said Swift then screamed at the manager and pulled a folding knife from his pocket. Swift was then asked to leave the building several times, according to the affidavit.
Police contacted Swift by phone and said he admitted to the incident.
Swift’s preliminary hearing is scheduled for 9 a.m. March 28 before District Judge Kevin Flaherty.
