Butler man charged with performing sexual acts on a minor
Police charged a Butler man Tuesday, March 4, after he allegedly performed sexual acts on a child.
Dennis Emmett Goodwine II, 23, was charged with one felony count each of involuntary deviant sexual intercourse and aggravated indecent assault of a person less than 13, and misdemeanor indecent assault of a minor related to an alleged Sept. 6 incident in Butler.
Butler and Butler Township police said they received a ChildLine report alleging Goodwine had sexually abused a girl. The girl said the abuse occurred in Butler when she was between the ages of 8 and 12, and Goodwine was about seven years older than her, police said.
The girl told interviewers the contact began with kissing and other inappropriate contact, leading to intercourse.
Police said Goodwine said indicated in an interview that the juvenile had asked him if she could perform sexual acts on him that she witnessed her mother performing for other men.
Goodwine’s preliminary hearing has not yet been scheduled.
